The symposium, which served as a space for debate and reflection, focused on analysing social innovation, examining initiatives that have been implemented by various stakeholders that have resulted in social change and redefined society, making it more socially oriented. The event made it possible to highlight the resourcefulness of people, organisations and social movements.

Nearly 400 people took part in the Symposium, with Javier Castro Spila, Coordinator of the Research Centre, representing Sinnergiak Social Innovation (UPV/EHU) and presenting the paper: “Modes d’innovation sociale et gouvernance” (Forms of Social Innovation and Governance) as part of the section on “Gouvernance, innovation organisationnelle et entrepreneuriat social” (Governance, organisational innovation and social entrepreneurship).
