Researchers of Sinnergiak Social Innovation participate in the R&D Management Conference 2016. From science to society: innovation and value creation, with the paper “The double helix of organizations: Social Performance and Social Innovation”.
The Congress, from July 3rd to 6th, will gather researches and experts from all over the world who will debate on some topics linked to the management of the innovation, the research and development that it is applied to innovation systems in a wide range of technological and social fields.
The talk presents a model and some empiric results about the double helix in the organization. The concept of Double helix is been articulated around the recursive connections between social projects and innovative social projects. In the first one, resources are used to improve (social performance) vulnerability conditions in specific social groups and in the second one; resources are transformed in order to improve vulnerability conditions of the groups. This connection is shown through the presentation of the main results of the RESINDEX survey.
