Europe has gradually consolidated the integration of the gender dimension in the field of research and innovation. However, the representation of women in the workforce is still a current and universal concern. From Sinnergiak Social Innovation we have analysed the position of women in academic research through the evolution of its participation in research and innovation projects in higher education, taking the University of the Basque Country as a case study.
