Sinnergiak Social Innovation strategy and structure

Established in 2012, SINNERGIAK Social Innovation (UPV/EHU) is conceived as a knowledge based organization formed by an interdisciplinary team of researchers and professionals from different fields of knowledge and specialize in training, intervention and SINNERGIAK was set up as a knowledge organization organized around an interdisciplinary team that is headed by university researchers and also consisting of other professionals who specialize in training practices and intervention and transfer of know-how.

THE MEANING OF OUR WORK

Creation of knowledge and capacities for innovation

SINNERGIAK’s activity aims at promoting the development of skills in people and capacity for innovation in organizations and communities, both of which are basic requirements for achieving results with a socially visible and useful impact.

Our work is focused on the internal specialization for the generation of knowledge, the management of a set of social techniques and also the access to a diversity of projects through a cooperation and networks system.

Four main areas of activity

In order to meet our broad and diverse goals, SINNERGIAK is based on an interdisciplinary approach of social innovation that is divided into four core areas: research, training, action and intervention, knowledge transfer.

RESEARCH

Focusing on the development of innovative projects whose most visible results are: indicators, models, products, networks and strategic partnerships. In practice and within de broad thematic range related to the studies on Social Innovation, Public Sector Innovation, Workplace Innovation and Cultural and creatives industries.

ACTION AND INTERVENTION

Designed to foster collaborative learning processes and experimentation that promote the identification of capacities, the acquisition of professional skills and competencies, always from the field of social innovation.

Planned to create content and contexts for teaching and learning. The main activities in this area are based on the following actions:

TRANSFER OF KNOWLEDGE
