In the framework of Etorkizuna Eraikiz, the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa has set up a space for reflection so that Gipuzkoa youth can express their vision on future challenges.
Through this space, high school students from public and private schools are linked through the development of projects to identify the challenges and concerns that they consider most important for Gipuzkoa.
Around 520 high school students have presented different initiatives throughout October and November, in order to make known the suggestions related to the future.
Issues such as gender violence, sexism, climate change, the need to promote democracy or knowledge have been addressed by adolescents, raising their ideas and being part of the collaborative governance strategy implemented by the provincial council.
The projects are exhibited in Etorkizuna Eraikiz Gunea, the public policy laboratory that is located in the facilities of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa. Each initiative is presented in different formats such as plays, dialogues, musical compositions, among others.
This participative initiative is conceived as a collective and open project in order to strengthen the capacity of Gipuzkoa to face its future challenges and encourage joint work based on knowledge and collaboration.
